QATek represents
several manufacturers of NDT equipment, including Lorad Industrial
Imaging, Lenox Instrument Company, and NDT Technologies.

The LPX Interlock Control module
provides warning and control of the Lorad LPX x-ray controller in
both fix and portable operations. Connecting the interlock control
module to the Lorad LPX controller via the Lorad interlock connector
disables the LPX x-ray controller until the following safety requirements
are satisfied:
- Upon energizing the interlock controller, a local beacon and audible
alarm on the interlock controller, and a remote beacon located near
the x-ray source are turned on for at least 20 seconds.
- After the initial 20 seconds, the audible alarm ceases and the
interlock circuit to the Lorad controller is closed enabling the
generation of x-rays.
- If the Lorad controller is not energized with in 30 seconds, the
interlock controller resets and disables the Lorad controller.
Optional equipment includes circuits that detect the condition of the
Beacon and 'X-ray On' light bulbs. If the bulbs burn out, the
interlock system resets thus disabling the x-ray controller.
Lorad Industrial
Imaging has brought the state of industrial imaging to a new high with
its portable constant potential x-ray units, the LPX-160, LPX-200 and LPX-300. The LPX-300, the
latest addition, has the performance of a traditional 400kV x-ray system
in a package only slightly larger that a 200kV unit. Power,
portability and a 100% duty cycle make the Lorad air, or water, cooled
x-ray systems the right choice for your radiographic needs.

The Lenox Instrument Company is
pleased to introduce the latest in its line of videoscopes. The
View-a-Pipe AR offers all the features of traditional videoscopes plus,
4-way articulation and Remote Focus. The View-a-Pipe AR is 0.433" in
diameter and available in 10, 20 and 33* foot lengths. No longer do
you have to with draw the scope to adjust the focus. (* The 33 foot
View-a-Pipe AR does not offer 4-way articulation)

Curlin-Air
is a new and radically different type of portable ultrasonic flaw detector
that features a unique (and much needed) combination of performance and
capabilities.
Its remarkable penetrating power provides the opportunity to readily
inspect an increasing variety of extremely attenuative materials that are
generally considered "un-inspectable" with conventional
ultrasonic flaw detectors. |
